Dr. Owens and his significant other, Dr. Erin Howard, are passionate about giving back to the community and supporting the next generation of dental professionals. They recently established a scholarship fund for undergraduate students at Morehouse College and Hampton University who are interested in pursuing a career in dentistry. This fund specifically supports juniors who are in the process of preparing for dental school, as the costs associated with the Dental Admission Test and application process can easily exceed $2,000. By providing financial assistance and mentorship, Dr. Owens and Dr. Howard hope to inspire and support future dentists on their journey to making a positive impact in the field.
